In order for us to create any mouthguard, we will need one of the following: A Mould, A Model or a 3D Scan file.
These can be done at any dental office but we recommend you call around for the best price.
***Note, we do not accept ‘do-it yourself’ mold kits (due to low quality).
If you are sending us a mould or plaster models, request the office gets the molding material “as high on the gums as possible”.
If you are getting a standard mouthguard, we only the need a mold/model of your upper teeth.
If you are getting upper AND lower mouthguards, you will need to have your lower teeth molded as well.
*When mailing the moulds / models, be sure to include a note with your name, email and telephone number.
*Any moulds / models arriving without proper contact information will be discarded.
Once your mould / model arrives, we will contact you to finalize the design and process payment.
If you are having a 3D scan done, request the office scans “as high on the gums as possible”.
If you are getting a standard mouthguard, we only need the scan of your upper teeth.
If you are getting upper AND lower mouthguards you will need to have your lower teeth scanned as well.
All scans are subject to a $25 print fee per scan. This is what we pay to have the scans printed.
Once we receive the digital file, we will contact the you via email to discuss the mouthguard design and payment.
When shipping us your DENTAL MOULDS or PLASTER MODELS into Canada, please use USPS to avoid courier broker fees. Any courier shipments (DHL, FEDEX, UPS, ETC.) that trigger broker fees are the responsibility of YOU, the customer.
Your post office will ask you the contents and the dollar value of your shipment. Describe the item as a ‘Dental Model’ and keep it’s value under $10. This will help avoid Duty Fees & Customs Delays.

Dental scans are very large files that are typically too large for traditional email.
Please send us your files using a file sharing service called “wetransfer” (wetransfer.com). This is a free service and is our preferred method for receiving these files.
The dental office may wish to email us the files, or they may provide them directly to you.
Once we receive the wetransfer file, we will contact you via email to discuss the mouthguard design and payment.
If the dental office emails them to us directly, please ensure they include your contact information in the transfer.
